How Role-based Certifications Work

Role-based Certifications give you greater choice in how you build and demonstrate your CargoWise expertise, with five pathways now available.

Choose from four Job-role pathways – Forwarding, Customs, Warehouse and Accounting – designed to develop deeper capability in a specific area of work, or the Cross-functional pathway, designed to build broader capability across multiple CargoWise functions.

Each pathway progresses through two certification levels – Operator and Specialist – before culminating at the same CargoWise Certified Professional (CCP) certification.

Operator

CargoWise experience: New/entry-level
Prerequisite certifications: None

Build the core skills and knowledge required to work effectively in your chosen CargoWise pathway.

Specialist

CargoWise experience: 6+ months
Prerequisite certifications: Operator

Develop deeper expertise in your chosen pathway and confidently apply advanced CargoWise functionality.

Professional

CargoWise experience: 12+ months
Prerequisite certifications: Specialist

Progress to the highest level of CargoWise Certification. All pathways lead to the same CCP credential, broadening your knowledge across all areas of CargoWise.
