What You'll Learn
This course provides the skills and knowledge required for you to undertake your role as an Accredited Person within a Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) Approved Arrangement.
In this course, you will be introduced to the requirements for Classes 1 to 8 and 10 to 14 Approved Arrangements (AAs), and your responsibilities in identifying and reducing biosecurity risks at AA sites.
You will also recognise and address the conditions that AAs must meet, including the key biosecurity principles for Approved Arrangements.
Course Content
This course is an introduction to biosecurity in Australia. It prepares you to recognise the biosecurity risks and how these are addressed by the key stakeholders, including the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.
It is the pre-requisite course if you are seeking to become an Accredited Person under the Approved Arrangements.
NOTE: you must complete this subject before you undertake the Approved Arrangement Accreditation for AA Accredited Persons course.
